Our community is facing increased fear and instability due to ongoing ICE activity. In response we created the 2C 1A ICE Community Watch a volunteer-led network dedicated to rapid response community defense and practical care. | Our work includes Street Defense ICE Monitoring We drive to verify ICE sightings monitor neighborhoods and share real-time updates so families have accurate information not rumors or panic. Direct Support Deliveries We bring groceries diapers hygiene supplies medications and essential items to community members who are too afraid to leave their homes due to ICE presence. Community Defense Trainings We host trainings to empower neighbors with the skills to stay safe organized and informed. These trainings teach people how to respond how to communicate and how to build solidarity during ICE activity. Know Your Rights Education We provide clear accessible Know Your Rights information so people understand what ICE can and cannot do and how to protect themselves and their families. Zines Whistle Protocols We create printed and digital zines with Know Your Rights information community safety steps and whistle protocols that help alert the neighborhood when ICE is present. These zines help keep families informed prepared and connected. Connection to legal support and raising funds for legal support too
